The best study abroad destination !!!
US and UK explored:
Confused about which destination to choose, it is quite understandable. Since overseas education is a life-changing decision involving huge amount of money, hard work and dedication, it needs to be taken after thorough deliberation and contemplation. Before arriving at a conclusion, consider your calibre, your merit, finances and your long-term goal behind this decision.
If you are a meritorious student and have good financial backing, The US can be a good choice. However, if your main aim to study in US is to use it as a pathway to residency in the US….. please do re-think. As long as you are happy to study in world class university, get good international exposure, and return to your home country, it is fine; however, if your intention is to settle down, the chances are grim, you either have to get married or win a lottery.
If your scores are not that great and you are keen on getting international education at high ranking universities, then UK can be a good choice; however, the plan should be short-term wherein you can study there, work during the stay back period and return. Do not expect a PR other than in healthcare and IT sectors. The fees is usually reasonable for medium ranking universities. The financial requirements and visa processing is relatively simple. If a student is willing to work hard, he can make enough money to pay his tuition fees and also have some savings to come back a start his/her own business. Particularly, from a master’s point of view, for example, an MBA from any of the premium institutes in India would cost anywhere between INR 8 to 12 Lakhs. With the same amount of money you can get an MBA from UK and in fact repay the education loan during the study and the post study work period easily if you plan well. Unfortunately, students studying here in India may not be able to do in the initial 2 to 3 years.
