Germany….. student visa proccess
After clearing the mandatory exams, and getting offer letter from the university, the next major milestone is visa filing. Proper documentation is the key to visa success. First requirement is, the blocked account (Sperrkonto) which is a key financial proof for German student visas, requiring a deposit of €11,904 to cover one year of living expenses at €992 per month. The blocked account confirmation letter is an important document. Apart from this, the VIDEX form needs to be filled online and printout taken. Additionally, all your educational documents, language certificate, offer letter and insurance needs to be submitted. The visa filing for Germany is currently done online through CSP portal/offline. The student needs to submit the documents physically to the nearest VFS center. If the application is done online, still the student needs to get an appointment and visit the VFS center for Biometric procedures.
